This Policy supplements the Terms & Conditions and applies to all users of the Platform. Violation of this Policy may result in immediate account suspension or termination without notice. ALTIVOR INSTITUTE reserves the right to take all appropriate legal and technical measures to protect the integrity of its services.

This Acceptable Use Policy (the "Policy") governs the manner in which all users are permitted to access and use the platform operated by ALTIVOR INSTITUTE at altivor.institute (the "Platform"). It is designed to protect users, the Platform's infrastructure and the integrity of services provided.

This Policy is to be read in conjunction with the Terms & Conditions and applies to all persons accessing the Platform in any capacity.

Section 01
General Conduct Obligations

All users of the Platform are required at all times to:

  • comply with all applicable laws and regulations in their jurisdiction
  • adhere to the Terms & Conditions and all Platform policies
  • act honestly, in good faith and with reasonable diligence
  • use the Platform solely for its intended purposes
  • refrain from any conduct that infringes the rights of other persons
Section 02
Prohibited Technical Activities

Users are strictly prohibited from undertaking any activity that may interfere with the technical operation of the Platform, including but not limited to:

  • attempting to gain unauthorised access to any system, account or data
  • circumventing, disabling or bypassing any security mechanism
  • conducting penetration testing or vulnerability assessments without prior written authorisation from ALTIVOR INSTITUTE
  • introducing, transmitting or deploying malicious software, viruses, trojans or any harmful code
  • conducting or facilitating denial-of-service or distributed denial-of-service attacks
  • manipulating, interfering with or attempting to alter any system, database or data structure
  • reverse engineering, decompiling or otherwise attempting to extract the Platform's source code
Section 03
Automation, Bots & Data Scraping

Without the prior express written consent of ALTIVOR INSTITUTE, users are prohibited from:

  • deploying bots, automated scripts or crawlers to interact with the Platform
  • scraping, harvesting or systematically extracting data or content
  • bulk-downloading or mirroring Platform content
  • using automated processes to create accounts or submit data
  • artificially generating traffic, engagement or activity metrics
Section 04
Account Usage & Access

Each user account is strictly personal. Users are required to:

  • use only their own registered account
  • maintain the confidentiality of their login credentials at all times
  • not share, sell, transfer or otherwise provide access to their account to any third party
  • not access or use the account of another registered user
  • notify ALTIVOR INSTITUTE promptly of any suspected unauthorised access to their account

ALTIVOR INSTITUTE reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate action where account sharing or unauthorised access is suspected, including immediate suspension.

Section 05
Data Manipulation & Results Fraud

Users are strictly prohibited from undertaking any activity designed to falsify, distort or manipulate data within the Platform, including:

  • submitting false, fabricated or misleading information
  • artificially inflating performance metrics or statistics
  • manipulating trade records, timestamps or account data
  • exploiting system errors, bugs or technical vulnerabilities for personal advantage
  • circumventing or subverting the rules of any evaluation programme or challenge structure
Section 06
Legal Compliance & Third-Party Rights

Users are prohibited from using the Platform for any purpose that:

  • violates any applicable law, statute, regulation or court order
  • infringes the intellectual property rights of ALTIVOR INSTITUTE or any third party
  • involves the distribution or transmission of unlawful content
  • constitutes impersonation of any person or entity
  • involves the unauthorised collection or processing of personal data
  • breaches any applicable data protection or privacy legislation
Section 07
Unsolicited Communications

The following conduct is prohibited on or through the Platform:

  • transmitting unsolicited commercial communications or spam
  • advertising products, services or third-party platforms without prior written authorisation
  • publishing promotional or marketing content in any Platform channel
  • abusing any feedback, support or communication feature for commercial purposes
Section 08
User-Submitted Content

Where the Platform permits users to submit materials including but not limited to trade screenshots, notes, journal entries or documentation the user warrants that all submitted content:

  • complies with all applicable laws and regulations
  • does not infringe the intellectual property or other rights of any third party
  • does not contain malicious code, viruses or harmful components
  • does not include offensive, defamatory, obscene or otherwise unlawful material
  • is accurate and not misleading in any material respect

ALTIVOR INSTITUTE reserves the right to remove any submitted content that violates this Policy without prior notice.

Section 09
Infrastructure Protection

Users must not engage in any conduct that may:

  • place an unreasonable or disproportionate load on the Platform's infrastructure
  • degrade or interrupt the availability of the Platform for other users
  • interfere with the performance, reliability or quality of the Platform's services
  • consume excessive bandwidth or computational resources
Section 10
Abuse & Fraudulent Activity

ALTIVOR INSTITUTE reserves the right to identify, investigate and take action against abuse of the Platform's systems or policies, including but not limited to:

  • creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions, suspensions or access limitations
  • exploiting promotional offers, trial periods or programme structures in a manner inconsistent with their stated purpose
  • attempting to obtain services or access through deceptive or fraudulent means
  • engaging in any conduct that constitutes or facilitates fraud
Section 11
Consequences of Policy Violations

In the event of a breach of this Policy, ALTIVOR INSTITUTE may, at its sole discretion and depending on the nature and severity of the violation, take any of the following actions:

  • issue a formal warning to the user
  • restrict or limit account functionality
  • suspend the user's account on a temporary or indefinite basis
  • permanently terminate the user's account and access to the Platform
  • refuse to provide services to the user in the future
  • pursue civil or criminal legal proceedings where warranted

ALTIVOR INSTITUTE is not required to provide advance notice of enforcement action where the violation is of a serious nature.

Section 12
Monitoring & Enforcement

ALTIVOR INSTITUTE may employ technical, operational and procedural monitoring measures for the purposes of detecting abuse, ensuring platform security and maintaining service integrity. Such measures may be applied automatically and without prior notification to individual users.

The existence of monitoring measures does not imply that ALTIVOR INSTITUTE undertakes to detect all violations or that failure to detect a violation constitutes acceptance of the relevant conduct.

Section 13
Reporting Violations

Users who become aware of conduct that may violate this Policy are encouraged to report such conduct to ALTIVOR INSTITUTE at:

All reports will be treated confidentially to the extent reasonably practicable. ALTIVOR INSTITUTE will investigate reports as appropriate but does not undertake to take specific action in response to every report received.

Section 14
Policy Amendments

ALTIVOR INSTITUTE reserves the right to amend, update or replace this Policy at any time in response to changes in technology, operations or applicable law. Amended versions will take effect upon publication. Continued use of the Platform following any amendment constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.

Users are encouraged to review this Policy periodically to remain informed of current requirements.

Governing Statement

This Policy is issued by ALTIVOR INSTITUTE and forms part of the contractual framework governing use of the Platform. It supplements and is to be read in conjunction with the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
